Acoustic ceiling rafts and panels are used within a room or an area as the ceiling area (or vaulted ceiling space) is an ideal place to install acoustic treatment for sound absorption and reverberation control. Implementing this type of acoustic solution does not impact with anything surface mounted. In modern building design, extensive glazing is used and this makes the use of wall mounted acoustic treatment impossible.
Acoustic ceiling panels can be fixed direct to the ceiling or suspended, on adjustable wire cables, and lay parallel (horizontal) with the ceiling allowing for designs that can be both functional and aesthetically pleasing to be incorporated within the space.
